I am Showing u to How to Root Galaxy Y
2) Now copy this update.zip file directly in your phone's SD Card not in any folder
3) Switch off your device and restart it into recovery mode using the following key combination
Volume UP + Home Button + Power Button
4)In this Mod..select the Second option with the help of the "menu" button...click on the "update_.zip" file.....
5) After the patching of that file, you will be back to the menu, and there it's written "reboot system now". Select it.
6) After the reboot, go to phone's main menu and if you are able to find the "SuperUser" App on it, it will simply mean that you have rooted your phone!

I try to root galaxy y with your method but no superuser app is installed on it .earlier my galaxy y rood with this method later i try to install beat audio drive on my galaxy y and then unrooted my galaxy y .when i again try to root it no superuser is install on it .i also do factory reset , wipe cache data . But no superuser app is install.plz plz help me as early as possible plz give solution to my email id abhinandantrilokia17@gmail.com or on this blog .plz help!!!!!!!

I download update.zip to my galaxy ace S6802 & hold the three buttons but it doesn't show anything plz...help

LOL! It's very easy.. you want to know how to root your galaxy y? Follow my steps
1 go to 4shared.com
2 search 'galaxy y root' and choose the second name 'Root Galaxy Y.zip'
3 click it.
4 turn off your phone
5 go to recovery mode
6 go to apply update from sdcard
7 find 4shared.com
8 Find publicfiles
9 click the 'Root Galaxy y.zip
and wait a second....
and reboot.
Now you have a rooted galaxy y phone :P
Remember: You must use the 4shared on your android not on computer.
